		<description>&lt;p&gt;I got to know a real yurt in 2006 and learned that the cover was originally made from felt. Untreated and undied wool would be used since it still contains the natural oils that repel water sufficiently. In our climate a cover made from canvas or even the plastic stuff used for lorries would obvoiusly have its advantages in terms of longlivety.
