I was watching "Crude Impact" and had to make a pause after the Saro-Wiwa story, I wanted to mail Shell and tell them how I hated them right now, then I read in their site about the efforts they where making in reconciliation and environmental reparation, and surfing the web to see how much of this was true, I arrived here.. That's it! : we have to start liberating ourselves from this dependency on oil-electricity-governments-multinacionals. And learn how to grow food. And teach others to do all of this too. What a mess we have here between a government drunk on power and corruption and a society drunk on consumerism and denial. It is so hopeful to read about what others in the world are doing. I would like to return to Ireland, the land of my ancestors, once before I die. My sister is ill and we would like to take a trip together. Hope I can find you and see for ourselves what you are doing. We can bring the picture and story home to our families and friends.</p> I am a retired person in Minnesota, USA.
