		<description>&lt;p&gt;I so agree; &#039;alternative&#039; therapies have everything to gain by insisting they themselves are submitted to rigourous scientific testing. Modern drug therapy is after all, just that: herbalism submitted to scientific rigour. And while the drug comapanies can be as good at selling us useless (or damaging) snake oil as the travelling circus, at lease we can look at research to gain compensation when they pull a really nasty scam. What saddens me is that New-Age mystics feel that they are above such ethical and moral scrutiny and that any attempts to regulate their behaviour are unfair. It is as if they consider themselves so superior that any counter opinion is not worthy of their proper attention.&lt;/p&gt;
